The Mission/Valley U-18 boys lacrosse team emerged as Pacific Coast Field Lacrosse League (PCFLL) Tier 2 champions after an 11-10 win in overtime against Delta on Feb. 12.

With the win, the squad advanced to provincials in Surrey from Feb. 17-20 and came away with silver after losing 14-6 to Delta in a rematch in the championship game on Monday (Feb. 20).

Mission/Valley defeated Delta 8-5 in their first provincial game on Friday before a 12-7 win over Ridge Meadows on Saturday and a pair of one goal wins over Surrey and Richmond/Vancouver on Sunday.

The team finished in first place in the PCFLL Tier 2 regular season standings with a 5-3 record. Mission/Valley averaged 8.3 goals per game during the regular season with a +17 goal differential.

The Mission Mud Dawgs and Valley Attack merged for the 2022-23 Field Lacrosse season in an attempt to keep players local instead of being released to other communities.
