The Mission City Outlaws open the PJHL exhibition schedule tonight (Friday) in Abbotsford and then play at home on Saturday night.

The boys of winter are ready to hit the ice again, as the Mission City Outlaws kick off the Pacific Junior Hockey League exhibition schedule starting today (Friday) in Abbotsford.

Mission heads south to Abbotsford’s MSA Arena to open the 2018-19 campaign against the club’s arch-rivals, the Pilots. Faceoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

The two teams then meet again tomorrow at the Mission Leisure Centre. Game time is at 7 p.m.

Mission’s exhibition schedule continues on Sunday, when they host the Port Moody Panthers at the MLC.

That game gets underway at 7:30 p.m. The two clubs meet for a re-match in Port Moody on Aug. 25.

The Outlaws’ exhibition run concludes when the Aldergrove Kodiaks come to town on Sept. 1. Faceoff is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. The club’s final roster will be determined in the coming weeks.

The PJHL regular season begins for the Outlaws on Sept. 5 when they travel to Langley to take on the Trappers. The first regular season home game for Mission occurs on Sept. 8 when the Pilots return to the MLC.
