Mission's Dani Shap has been named the athlete of the week.

Mission’s Dani Shap has been named the UFV Cascades/Abbotsford Heat athlete of the week.

This second-year golfer led the University of the Fraser Valley to first place in the program’s first-ever PacWest golf tournament with a two-day score of 161. She tied with her teammate Jen Woods.

The team is currently in first place with a score of 322, 19 strikes ahead of second-place VIU Mariners.
