Team BC comes calling for Trase Recsky

Sixteen-year-old Mission lacrosse player off to national tourney

Sixteen-year-old lacrosse player Trase Recsky has been chosen to play for Team BC in the 2018 National Midget Boys Lacrosse tournament.

The nationals will be held in Calgary Aug. 12-18.

This is the third time that Recsky has been chosen to go to the nationals with Team BC.

He previously attended the event for both the Pee Wee and Bantam squads.

Recsky, a goaltender, has played lacrosse in Mission for the past 12 years.

Recsky will also be suiting up for the Fraser Valley squad in box lacrosse at the 2018 B.C. Summer Games being held in Cowichan in less than a month.
