Mission, B.C., is a world-class fishing destination, whether you plan to ply the waters for gigantic sturgeon more than three-metres long, iconic West Coast salmon, or feisty lake fish.
When the salmon are running up the mighty Fraser River on the way to their spawning grounds, it’s a huge biological event, and the river becomes alive with fish and fishermen.
If still-water fishing is more your style, there are many lakes in which to angle, including Stave Lake, Hayward Lake, Sayres Lake and Rolley Lake. There are also hike-in only lakes for fishing, and they include Morgan Lake, Florence Lake, Hoover Lake and Devil’s Lake.
Be sure to check the latest fishing regulations to learn about what’s in season and when, and what catch limits and other restrictions are in place.
