The decade of the 1970s saw big growth for the Abbotsford International Airshow, and a new video recently published on YouTube has showcased some spectacular images from the 1977 show.
The popular Airrailimages YouTube account released a new video on Monday with a number of pictures from the event.
Some of the featured planes from the show included: an F-14, CF-5s and a commemorative CF-101 Voodoo.
The 1977 show was also one year after the 1976 show, which was officially recognized as a United States Bi-Centennial event even though it took place in Canada. The US Navy Blue Angels and US Army Golden Knights joined the Snowbirds to commemorate the event.
