Nigel Burn is a big fan of Tim Hortons, but he doesn't normally drink coffee in the evening.
A few months ago, while waited for some members of his family to emerge from a movie, he decided to order his regular, a decaf.
Burns, an Abbotsford resident, had taken his family for a night at the movies in Mission.
The guys decided on a spy-type movie, while the girls went to another. Nigel's movie ended earlier so the boys walked over to Tim Hortons and Nigel ordered a coffee.
"There's a Tim Hortons, so why not."
Back at home in the driveway, Nigel rolled up one side of the rim and it said Try Again. He rolled up the other asked his wife to read it. It said "Camry." The overhead light in the car wasn't great, so he jumped out of the car to look at the cup under the headlights.
Sure enough, it was a new Camry.
He then drove to his local Tim Hortons to find out what to do. They gave him a form to fill out.
In April, he received a new 2015 Toyota Camry. He gave it to his wife.
"We have other cars, and I felt she should drive a new one."
"She loves it."
