Centennial Place celebrated its third anniversary during Mental Health Week (May 5-9).
Several people spoke about the help they received at Centennial Place, including Nathan, who credited the people at the clubhouse for saving his life two years ago.
"Centennial Place really is a place of healing," said Nathan.
Cindy explained how the staff encouraged her to move from a place of isolation to the community, giving her confidence to finish high school.
"Next year it's college, and I can't wait," said Cindy. "I wouldn't be where I am today without this place."
Centennial Place is a clubhouse where people can go to for mental wellness support. The organization has been nominated for a Business Excellence Award from the Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce.
