It’s going to be a “Sunday Circus of Fun” on Sunday, June 10 as the Mission Arts Council presents the 22nd annual Fraser Valley Children’s Festival.
Come celebrate the 250th anniversary of the circus with Triumph Acrobatic Arts and Fusion Horse Vaulters performing in the circus oval.
Tristin Underwood and his spectacular acrobatics with kites will also be on hand at Mission’s Fraser River Heritage Park to join in the fun.
You can enjoy the laughs and magic from the Fraser Valley Magic Circle and be wowed by Lindsay Long Legs the Stilt walker.
There is so much to see and do, including interactive crafts, music from around the world with Boris, art stations and food trucks galore.
The children’s festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and admission is free.
Parking at Fraser River Heritage Park is by donation.

Mission’s Triumph Acrobatic Arts is celebrating the 250th anniversary of the circus.
The local circus school is headlining the Fraser Valley Children’s Festival on June 10 for the second year in a row.
Not only have they put together an hour-long show, collaborating with both the Mission Arts Council and Fusion Horse Vaulters, but there will also be roving performers, juggling workshops, and a circus trivia scavenger hunt.
Summer also means summer camps. Mission Leisure Centre will be hosting Triumph for some mini-camps for ages three to 17 on Aug. 21 and 23.
If you’re looking for circus immersion, look no further than Triumph’s Circus Fun summer camps. They run Monday to Friday starting July 23 and include a little show at the end for friends and family to show off what participants have learned throughout the week.
