Foundation helps groups improve spaces, services

Three Mission organizations get a financial helping hand

Mission community groups are getting a boost to improve local heritage buildings and provide services, thanks to grants from Benjamin Moore announced today in partnership with Community Foundations of Canada.

The Benjamin Moore Community Restoration Program has granted Mission Arts Council $2,700 for the Creation in Paint project; $2,700 to the Fraser Valley Humane Society for shelter upgrades, and; $2,700 to Mission Adopt-A-Block to renovate its activity space and for the community mural project.

Benjamin Moore’s donation funds grants across the country with support from the Community Foundations of Canada network, including Mission Community Foundation.
