Learn how to reduce your waste and improve your garden by attending a free composting workshop June 4, presented by the Recycling Program.
The one-hour seminar covers the basics from how to start a home composting system, to tips on maintaining your backyard composter. The workshop will also feature information about worm composting which is ideal for apartment dwellers, offices and classrooms.
Class will be held at the Mission Farmers' Market, Lane Creek Park (Mission library parking lot) this Saturday at 10 a.m.
