If you are planning to attend the Prospera Cinema Under The Stars taking place in Mission on Aug. 11, you may be able to pick up a free Star Wars Book.
One 400-page hard cover Star Wars book will be given away free to the first 100 families who visit the Mission Literacy In Motion tent.
You can find the tent in Heritage Park during the Cinema Under The Stars event – the event begins at 8 p.m. and the movie will be Coco.
While at the tent, learn about the group’s many free programs. For adults, you can get a better job with Basic Computer Skills, WHMIS preparation, Work Place Readiness, Learner’s Licence preparation and One-to-One Literacy Tutoring.
For kids, Mission Literacy In Motion offers Reading Buddies, a Homework Club, Coder Dojo, Mother Goose and Stories in the Park, among others.
