A group of volunteers is committed to building the Pat Whitehead Books for Children Fund, but needs your help. Whitehead was a public health nurse in Mission who was diagnosed with terminal illness in 2003.
Her passion for literacy led to the formation of the fund, managed by Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation. Since her death, her family, friends and colleagues continue to honour her memory by contributing to the fund and replenishing the book supply.
