You can join the Hike For Hospice on Sunday, Sept. 16 at Fraser River Heritage Park.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the hike starts at 10 a.m.
The annual event benefits the Mission Hospice Society. This is a fun event for all ages. Participants can collect pledges and join others for a five-kilometre walk, as well as plenty of fun and prizes. The public is encouraged to form a team in honour of a loved one or simply in support of Mission Hospice Society.
Registration is $12 per person, or a family is $30. If you have pledges valued at more than $200, then registration is free.
The event is an important fundraiser for the Mission Hospice Society and 100 per cent of the funds raised go to help provide the comfort measures and volunteer support at the Christine Morrison Hospice.
