The Fraser Valley Humane Society (FVHS) held its first Kitten Library event at the Mission Library on Saturday, May 4.
A trio of volunteers – Desiray, Kim and David – along with Fraser, the FVHS shelter mascot and several kittens spent a few hours at the library, visiting with the children that came out to meet them.
One organizers said “there was a delightfully playful atmosphere in the kitten room and the children were so well-behaved, we are considering doing another similar event.”
It is currently kitten season” and the FVHS has many cats and kittens available for adoption. The organization is also looking for volunteers who would like to lend a hand.
