A huge crowd came out to Mission’s Fraser River Heritage Park on Saturday (Aug. 18) to pray and celebrate in honour of Our Lady of Lourdes.
The annual Marian Pilgrimage to the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes began with confessions at 10 a.mm and the celebration of the Eucharist, by Archbishop J. Michael Miller, CSB took place at 1 p.m.
After the Mass, there was a procession to the Grotto where Rosary was prayed, followed by Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
This is an annual event at the park.
