Second indoor Farmers’ Market Saturday at All Saints

Twenty vendors (four newcomers), nine musicians, two luncheon soups, and a one dollar cup of coffee.

This type of shopping experience is available at the second of three indoor seasonal Mission City Farmers’ Markets, happening this Saturday at All Saints Church hall on the corner of Second Avenue and James Street, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Look for preserves, baking, crafts, jewelry, photos, greeting cards and much more.

Joining coordinator Rick Chadwick in the entertainment line-up will be the popular a capella group Tangerine, Fred Truman on accordion, and keyboard musicians Alex and Jacob.

The society’s marketing committee is also looking ahead to its annual general meeting on March 5 and its final indoor market, Seedy Saturday, on April 2.

The market, a member of the Mission Food Access Network (MFAN), was also represented by manager Scott Miles at the Mission Library recently where the topic was agriculture, food and our community.

For more information, call Scott at 604-302-5561 or send an e-mail to mission.market@gmail.com.
