More than 835 pounds of trash was collected from Mission’s downtown area this past weekend during Adopt-A-Block’s third annual St. Patty’s Day Pick and Pub event.
A small, but enthusiastic, group of volunteers participated in the March 16 event and enjoyed a special lunch at Mission Station Grill. The next community clean up is on April 21 in celebration of Earth Day. For more information visit missionadoptablock.com or call 604-826-9423.
