Swish and Swirl for charity

The Mission Rotary Clubs' Swish and Swirl will see great music and fine foods paired for you by local vintners.

Along with wine and food pairing with exquisite foods, local microbreweries, exotic teas, and plenty of fun and games will make for an exciting evening, and provide an opportunity to support charitable programs.

The event begins at  7 p.m. at Cedarbrooke Chateau on Seventh Avenue and concludes with a five to six item live auction.

Throughout the evening there will be music, chances to win a diamond necklace, and many other  prizes. Travel, home accessories and other surprises will be available for bidding in the live auction.

The combination adds up to an evening of fun and charity. Past auctions have allowed Mission Rotary Clubs to complete the Fraser River Park Heritage Trails, outfit the Mission Literacy bus with computers and books, provide materials for the school district's StrongStarts, to name only a few benefactors.

This year, youth camps, the Mission Food Centre, scholarships for Mission high school graduates, wheelchairs for seniors living in care homes and environmental programs will all benefit from event proceeds.

Tickets are $85 can be purchased by calling 604-826-3687 or Deb Trenholm at 826-8090 or from any Mission Rotary Member.
