Merchants hand out goodies for Halloween

Attention, all little ghosts and goblins!

The annual Safe Halloween Trick-or-Treating event, hosted by the Mission Downtown Business Association, takes place today (Thursday) from 3 to 5 p.m.

Bring the kids to visit the friendly local merchants for some Halloween sweets.

Trick-or-treaters are welcome to visit stores between Murray and Grand streets, and from Railway to Second avenues.

Be sure to keep an eye out for the orange pumpkin posted in the windows of participating merchants.
