VIDEO: Abbotsford police surprise teen with gift after her bike was stolen

Girl’s bike was swiped off the family porch that morning

The Abbotsford police may not have been able to find this teenage girl’s stolen bike, but they did the next best thing for her birthday.

“The Abbotsford Police Department is just plain amazing what they do out here,” said her father. “Never enough credit is given to them.”

The girl’s bike was stolen off the family’s porch yesterday morning. The family reported it right away but the bike was not recovered.

Police went out and bought the girl the exact same bike.

“Thank you, you made [her] day today,” the father said.
