Blues artist Angel Forrest performed at the Clarke Theatre on Saturday night.
Forrest, whose powerful vocals and style has been described as a combination of Janice Joplin and Bonnie Raitt, delighted the audience, ending her set with a rousing rendition of Me and Bobby McGee and then Hallelujah.
She performed as part of a double bill with blues artists Kal David and Lauri Bono.
