Choirs croon Christmas carols for a cause at Clarke Theatre

Mission’s annual Rotary Carol Festival featured performances from school and community choirs Monday

After hosting the Nutcracker on the weekend, the Clarke Theatre in Mission stayed in the Christmas spirit on Monday with the annual Rotary Carol Festival.

Choirs from Mission schools serenaded the audience with holiday tunes, with performances from Edwin S Richards Primary Choir, Hatzic Middle School, Intermediate Choir, and Mission Senior Secondary, among others. The Serenata Singers community choir and Mission Ukulele Circle also hit the stage.

The audience received admission by donating unwrapped toys, non-perishable food items, or cash for the Mission Community Services Christmas Bureau. The concert was presented by Rotary Clubs of Mission and sponsored by Save-On-Foods.
