The City of Mission unveiled the Sights and Sounds of Mission art display on Saturday (Nov. 6) morning at the Mission Leisure Centre.

The works were created by artists in residence Tara-Lynn Kozma-Perrin and Luke Pardy.

Kozma-Perrin’s work is an aural and visual experience, featuring soundscapes that highlight local areas where people gather, enjoy themselves and connect with the community.

Pardy’s “A Common Potamology” creates a portrait of everyday life on the Fraser River from two large photo panels, highlighting the community’s land and ecology.

Mission’s Artist In Residence program was created to provide opportunities and support for emerging and established Fraser Valley artists.
