Last month, the Tone Chime Choir – made up of students from Mission’s Edwin S. Richards arts-based curriculum school – traveled to the B.C. Guild of English Handbell Ringers Youth Festival in Burnaby.

The group spent a full day immersed in intensive clinics using hand bells and tone chimes and performed in a mass ring concert for parents at the end of the day.

The local choir is directed by vice-principal Sharon Widdows and is made up of young ringers in grades 4 to 6.
