A humanitarian relief fundraiser dinner for those suffering from starvation in Africa happens Oct. 14 at All Saints Anglican Church.
Organized by the Mission International Cultural Association (MICA), doors open at 6:30 p.m. with a Ukrainian buffet dinner starting at 7 p.m.
According to MICA president Gary Westhora, the group is being helped by volunteers from Canada World Youth, who hail from Ukraine and will be in Mission until March.
Tickets are $25 and available from MICA members and at Murdoch's Book Shoppe on First Avenue.
