Abbotsford Police looking for bank robbery suspect

The Abbotsford Police Department (APD) is looking for a white man after a robbery occurred on Tuesday (Aug. 3) at the TD Bank at 30788 Fraser Highway in west Abbotsford.

According to police, the suspect walked into the bank, approached a bank teller, produced a note and demanded cash. The teller complied, and the masked suspect fled. Neither the bank teller nor patrons were injured in the incident.

Witnesses and CCTV have provided the following description of the suspect: 30 to 40 years old, medium build and wearing a black baseball hat, black sunglasses, a blue zip-up sweater jacket, black pants, and a blue mask covering his nose and mouth.

The APD is asking anyone who was near the 30700 block of Fraser Highway on Aug. 3 between 5:30 and 5:50 pm and saw someone matching the suspect’s description or who has CCTV, dashcam video or information about the investigation to contact the APD’s general investigation section at 604-859-5225.
