The hospital in Maple Ridge was closed mid-day Saturday due to a 911 threat that Mounties say has been deemed not credible.
The hospital was closed off to new patients starting at about noon. Patients inside the hospital were not evacuated.
The restricted access was lifted shortly after 2 p.m.
Police presence outside #RidgeMeadowsHospital. Rumours online suggesting it is a bomb threat but that has NOT been confirmed. Repeat: NOT CONFIRMED. Overheard officer tell motorist parking area closed “for safety concerns.” More to come. @BlackPressMedia @MapleRidgeNews pic.twitter.com/eB0zYlpnL0
