Chase the winter blues away with some delicious food and community fun at the Mission City Farmers Market Winter Market Jan. 18 in the lobby at Heritage Park Secondary School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Pick-up seasonal produce, naturally raised meat, organic mushrooms, honey, eggs, preserves, baking, skin care, and crafts. Two new vendors are offering locally crafted cheese and salmon. Trade your old cookbooks or cooking magazines for new ones at the cookbook exchange table. Enjoy a hot snack from one of the food trucks on site.
