Ferndale locked down for a search

All visits to the Mission prison are cancelled until the search ends

Ferndale Institution in Mission is on lockdown for a search.

According to a press release from the prison, the search was initiated after unauthorized items were found.

Visits are suspended until the search has been completed.

Ferndale is located on Dewdney Trunk Road just west of municipal hall.
