A head-on collision in Mission this morning (Dec. 13) sent both drivers to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Mission RCMP were called to the scene at the intersection of Hurd and McRae streets at 5:30 a.m., said Cpl. Jason Raaflaub, media officer with the detachment.

He said both vehicles were heavily damaged, and both drivers stayed on scene and co-operating with police, noting there were no current signs of drug or alcohol impairment.

Both drivers were taken to Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
