Hour long waits for the Sumas border crossing

Nexus lane is closed

Drivers expecting a speedy drive down to the U.S. can think again, the wait at the Sumas border is expected to last atleast an hour.

Congestion on Highway 11 is backed up all the way to Highway 1 and the current wait time for the crossing is 75 minutes, according to ezbordercrossing.com.

Nexus pass holders should expect no special treatment, their lane is closed.
