Local Mission woman Krystal Lahoda is in competition to be the 2022 Maxim Cover Girl, and is asking the community to help her advance to the next round.
The voting started on Monday, June 13, and the winner will be awarded $25,000 and a photo shoot in France for the cover of the magazine.
Lahoda says if she wins she wants to use some of the money to help her friend who has recently become a widow, and has three kids to take care of.
“I would really like to help financially with giving a portion of the prize money to her!” she said in an email.
The voting for the first cut ends on June 23, at 7 p.m., and people can vote daily online for her to advance.
