The Mission Motor Inn was robbed at gunpoint Feb. 3 and police are searching for two suspects.

Just before 8 p.m., two males wearing bandanas across their faces entered the motel, located in the 34400-block of Lougheed Highway. Both had handguns, said Mission RCMP Sgt. Shaun Wright, and one of the suspects pointed it at the clerk demanding money. The employee ran out the front door into the parking lot, and both suspects fled.

RCMP believe this incident is related to a similar robbery at an Abbotsford motel the night previous (see story page 12).

The first suspect is a fair-skinned white male, 5'8" tall, heavy set with a shaved head, chubby cheeks and blue eyes. He is in his mid-20s, has a raspy voice and was wearing a black hoodie with a white design on the front.

The other male is between 5'11" and 6', in his mid-20s, slender, with black hair and sideburns, wearing a red parka-style jacket and a toque.
