Mission firefighters are on scene at a garbage fire at the Mission Landfill site on Dewdney Trunk Road.
The fire started at around 6 p.m. tonight (July 19) and is still burning.
According to assistant fire chief Norm MacLeod, the garbage blaze is about 20 foot by 20 foot in size. He said there are no exposure issues or any risk to the public.
