Mission RCMP have detained one half of a criminal couple that they have been searching for since the end of January.
Sgt. Shaun Wright said that Miles McCallum, age 33, was taken into custody last week.
“He was arrested at a residence in Mission so they are definitely hanging out locally,” he said adding that Crystal McCallum is still outstanding and still wanted.
Last month the police asked for the public’s help in locating the pair, which they described as possibly violent.
Crystal, age 37, is wanted on arrest warrants for Possession of Stolen Property, Unlawful Possession of ID, and Breach of Recognizance.
She is described as Caucasian, 165 cm (5’6”), 70 kg (155 lbs) with shoulder-length brown hair, blue eyes and has a left forearm tattoo that says Miles.
Miles was wanted on arrest warrants for Possession of Stolen Property, Unlawful Possession of ID, Possession of Break-In Instruments, Breach of Recognizance, and Driving While Suspended.
Police advise that if the public sees Crystal, do not approach her, instead call 911 immediately.
