Mission RCMP discover body near Haven in the Hollow

Police say foul play is not suspected, case handed over to coroner’s office

Mission RCMP have confirmed that the body of a man was discovered early Tuesday (March 12) morning.

At about 6:30 a.m. the police were notified of a body, found in the area of the Haven in the Hollow, which is located on Logan Ave.

Haven in the Hollow is a shelter that provides temporary overnight accommodation. It has 20 beds, 15 for men and five for women.

Police said the death was not deemed suspicious and no foul play was suspected.

The case has been handed over to the BC Coroner’s Service.
