Mission RCMP find stolen truck, property in Hatzic

Two people arrested, animals seized and firearms, drugs recovered

Mission RCMP has arrested two people and recovered a stolen truck, several stolen items, as well as seizing firearms and drugs from a property in the Hatzic area.

On the morning of June 19, Mission RCMP responded to a bylaw complaint at a residence in the 35000 block of the Lougheed Highway.

As police entered the property investigators identified a pickup truck which had been reported as stolen.

Police took control of the property after a male and female were arrested and taken into custody.

Mission RCMP conducted a warrant execution for the property, providing investigators with several more stolen items as well as firearms and drugs.

The SPCA was called in and seized several uncared for animals located on the property.

Mission RCMP continue to the investigation as charges are pending before the courts.
