Agnes Cameron has some amazing dreams for herself and others after saying ‘Yes’ to the Extra. The Mission resident matched all four numbers of the Extra in the Lotto 6/49 Draw held January 12, 2019, to win the $500,000 prize.

“My dreams are to help not only my own children, but the children’s hospital as well,” said Cameron. “However, I also have plans to go to Greece. It’s been on my bucket list for a long time. I always thought it would be nice to boat around the island.

Cameron was at home when her daughter told her that someone in Mission had won $500,000. “I had my ticket sitting on the coffee table and I told her to go ahead and check it,” recalled Cameron. “She scanned it using the lotto app on her phone and she started jumping because she was so happy for me.”

Still in shock, Cameron said, “I’m in disbelief. I’ve always wanted to win but never thought I would. I never thought I would be so lucky. It’s wonderful!”

Cameron said she never chooses her own numbers, opting instead to use Quick Pick. She also plans to keep playing the lottery. “It’s fun because you have something to look forward to. I’ve always bought them,” she added.

Cameron purchased her winning ticket at London Drugs on London Avenue in Mission.
