A Knight Street resident was surprised when she returned home to find two unknown males inside her house Sunday (Aug. 19) just after 8 a.m.
As she opened the front door, the men ran out the back and crashed through a fence in the back yard, according to police.
"The two men probably used a vehicle to make their getaway," said Mission RCMP Cpl. Sharon Siluch.
The suspects entered the home by prying open the basement door, she said, adding the house was ransacked and various electronic and personal items were taken.
A police dog couldn't locate the suspects and the incident is still under investigation.
The first suspect is described as a white male, about 5'7", with a stocky build and was wearing a black hoodie and light-coloured board shorts.
The second male is Caucasian, with a thin build and was wearing a red T-shirt and shorts, and stood about about 5'11".
