It has been a privilege to serve the community for the past three years. Though it has been a learning curve, I feel satisfied that we as a community have progressed in a positive and cautious manner on a number of important initiatives. We have strengthened our financial reserves, invested in a waterfront plan, enhanced our parks and negotiated a new Health Centre and Campus of Care. With these foundations established, I feel we can move forward in a proficient manner where we will see great progress in the next three years.
With the experience I have gained, I hope to accomplish with community involvement the following: a move to land-use planning on the waterfront; to secure a long-term water source for Mission; develop community amenities through sustainable partnership and create recreational opportunities in the Municipal Tree farm.
