Mission has been my home for 34 years. I graduated as a registered psychiatric nurse in 1973.
SD75 (Mission) hired me in 1986 and have given me over 24 years of experience as a teacher assistant and then as a secretary before I retired in 2010.
Working in elementary and high schools, student services, the school board office and at the facilities office has given me the opportunity to work with students, parents, staff and the public in classrooms, as a support worker, and with special needs.
I have a good working knowledge of what it takes to maintain the upkeep of our buildings and our grounds. Working closely with the custodial staff for two years gave me a strong appreciation for what it takes to keep our schools clean.
I have served on several local boards as a volunteer. I am excited about serving you if elected.
