Born in Mission Memorial Hospital, I attended Windebank and Mission secondary.
I have raised my three children who attended Dewdney elementary and Hatzic secondary schools.
I have served on a PAC executive every day of my children’s school years in various roles, and have served as chair of Dewdney and Hatzic secondary’s PAC, as well as chaired the district PAC.
I have experienced many aspects of the school system from elementary to secondary, both as a parent and as an elected volunteer.
As an elected trustee, I will work to ensure parents’ concerns are addressed and that students’ emotional, social and educational needs are met.
I would strive to have a variety of courses and programs restored and available to every student in every school. This district needs to make spending on students its focus, providing teachers with the resources and tools to address the learning needs of our children.
