The province will be fixing the potholes on the Murray Street overpass until the end of the month, says the City of Mission.

The repairs to the concrete deck of the overpass begin today, and traffic will be merged into a single lane between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. every day, though the both sidewalks will not be affected.

The city is advising travellers to give themselves extra time and drive safely around the roadside workers.

Emil Anderson Construction and Road Maintenance can be contacted at 1-800-667-5122 for any questions.

Missionites have often complained about the condition of the piece of infrastructure which was constructed in 1973.

Conditions were so bad in 2018, the mayor suggested the city pave it themselves.
