A collision between a Honda and a scooter has sent one man to hospital.

The accident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. today on the corner of 14th Ave. and Horne St. in Mission.

While the investigation is in its early stages, Mission RCMP say it appears a male in his 60s was riding a scooter across the street when the collision occurred.

The scooter appears to have taken most of the impact.

Police, fire and ambulance were on scene and the driver of the scooter was transported to hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

An RCMP spokesman said the man had some lacerations on his face but would not elaborate on any other injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
