UPDATE: Mission man located

73-year-old was last seen around the Abbotsford-Mission area

Police have located a 73-year-old Mission man who may have required medical attention.

Mounties issued a request for public assistance in finding David Rourke yesterday (March 4) afternoon, but their search was over by Wednesday morning.

Local police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 73-year-old Mission man who has been seen at Seven Oaks Mall in Abbotsford and around Mission.

Police say he has been “acting agitated and paranoid” and may require medical attention.

Rourke is described as a caucasian male, 5’9″ in height, and weighing 150 pounds. He is balding with grey hair and walks with a cane. He was last seen wearing a beige winter coat, blue jeans and a dark ball cap. He was also carrying a shoulder bag.

Anyone who has seen Rourke or has information on where he may be is asked to call Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161.
