UPDATE: Victim of fatal crash in Deroche identified

The B.C. Coroners Service has confirmed that Lesley Marguerite Ljungh, 42, of Lake Errock was killed in the incident.

The victim of a fatal crash in Deroche on Friday morning has been identified.

The victim of Friday’s fatal crash in Deroche has been identified.

The B.C. Coroners Service has confirmed that Lesley Marguerite Ljungh, 42, of Lake Errock was killed in the incident.

The accident – a head-on collision between a camper and a car – occurred on Lougheed Highway and Sterling Road in the Deroche area on June 3, at approximately 9:30 a.m.

Ljungh died at the scene as a result of her injuries.

The BC Coroners Service and Fraser Valley Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.

Ljungh’s family has been notified of her passing.

The male driver of the camper was airlifted to hospital.

According to Const. Melissa Wutke of BC RCMP Traffic Services, the man is still in hospital in stable condition.
