Vehicle sought in April 3 hit-and-run

Mission RCMP are looking for a vehicle involved in a April 3 hit-and-run.

Local Mounties say around 5:40 a.m., a pedestrian walking westbound near the 7600 block of Strachan Avenue was hit by a southbound vehicle, which didn’t stop, but continued south, then turned west on to Seventh Avenue.

The pedestrian suffered serious, non-life threatening injuries. A witness described the vehicle as a newer-model, shiny, dark-coloured car. The vehicle likely has damage to the hood, windshield, and/or roof, said Mission’s Sgt. Miriam Dickson.
