Witnesses report a vehicle-versus-motorcycle crash along Yale Road in Rosedale Monday (May 29) evening.
The crash happened shortly after 7 p.m. according to a witness who was at the scene, and a B.C. Air Ambulance landed in Rosedale Park close to 8 p.m. to pick up the injured rider.
Live Google Maps traffic monitoring indicated that about an hour after witness reports came in, traffic was backed up as of 9:19 p.m. on Monday evening. The main backup was near the railroad crossing by Old Yale Road.
There is no word yet about injuries.
RCMP and local firefighters were also on the scene.
Motorists are advised to take alternate routes. The Observer has reached out to local police for further information.
