Alfredo Da Silva Dutra, born on May 5, 1953, in the Azores, Portugal, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at the age of 70. He was the eldest son of the late Armando and Honorina Dutra.
Alfred is survived by his siblings, Maria, Edward, and Frank, along with his niece, great nieces, and nephews. A
fter serving in the Canadian Armed Forces, Alfred worked on the family farm. He was self-employed for many years, first as the owner of a small photo shop in Mission, then as a hay farmer. Known for his strong work ethic, he found fulfillment in rural life, enjoying activities like swimming and weightlifting.
Friends and family are invited to join us in extending their sympathies during a gathering on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd, Abbotsford, BC.
